August

  • July 25th - first practice for Harvest Teams.

  • August 1st - 14th  -- Hands-off period.

  • Coaches should download a copy of the MPA Soccer Bulletin from the MPA Website.

  • There will be mandatory rules clinics held in soccer this fall.  Each high school boys and girls soccer program must have a coach or athletic administrator attend one of these mandatory
     meetings.  Sites for meetings are in the MPA Soccer Bulletin.

  • August 13th - First countable game for Harvest Teams (after 3:00 pm)

  • August 15th - First Practice.

  • August 19th - First Interschool Scrimmage (after 5 days of conditioning).

 

September

  • September 2nd -- First Countable Game (after 3:00 pm)

  • September 26th -- 1st Step of the All-Star Process. Coaches nominate up to five of their own players with email to President (mjeffrey@breweredu.org). Nominations due by Monday, September 26th.

 

October

  • Week of October 10th -- 2nd Step of the All-Star Process. Coaches receive the Nominations Sheets and Ballot for the voting process.

  • All-Star Ballots are sent to the Regional Vice-Presidents by Friday, October 21st.

  • Week of October 24th -- V.P.'s tally ballots and send results to President by Friday, October 28th.

  • October 18th -- Last Countable Game.

  • October 21st -- *Girls' (and Boys' Class D) Regional Prelims.

  • October 22nd -- Boys' Regional Prelims.

  • October 25th -- Girls' Regional Quarter Finals.

  • October 26th -- Boys' Regional Quarter Finals.

  • October 28th - *Girls' and Boys' Class C and D Semi Finals.

  • October 29th - Girls' and Boys' Class A and B Semi Finals.

*May move the 10/21 game to 10/22 and the 10/28 game to 10/29 by mutual agreement.


 

November

  • November 2nd -- Regional Finals All Classes.

  • November 5th -- Maine Soccer Coaches Regional All-Star Teams are posted on the website.  Senior All-Stars who plan to attend the 17th Annual Maine Soccer Coaches Senior Bowl will email the President at mjeffrey@breweredu.org by November 12th.

 

  • November 5th -- ^State Finals - Class A & D: Falmouth High School    Class B & C: Hampden Academy

 

  • Week of November 7th --  All-America/All-New England Ballots are sent to coaches.

  • November 12th -- Final RSVP date for Senior All-Stars attending Senior Bowl.  RSVP

  • November 13th -- Maine Soccer Coaches 17th Annual Senior Bowl at Hampden Academy. Boy's game is at 12:00 noon and the Girl's game is at 2:30 p.m. Seniors will receive invitations for 38th Maine Soccer Coaches All-Star Banquet.

  • November 14th -- All America/All New England ballot sent to President.

  • Week of November 14th -- Invitations to the 38th Maine Soccer Coaches All-Star Banquet are mailed to coaches and regional all-stars.

December

  • December 2nd -- Reservations for the 38th Maine Soccer Coaches All-Star Banquet are due to President.

  • December 4th-- 38th Maine Soccer Coaches All-Star Banquet at the Spectacular Events Center in Bangor (directions). All-America, All-New England, Eastern and Western State Teams, and Class "Players of the Year" are announced at that time.
